It's been far too long since I've blogged something and I sincerely apologize. I wish I could say the reason is it's summer and it's difficult to be inside for longer than is necessary but judging by the last time I posted that excuse doesn't hold up. Truth is, I have a hard time spending more time on the computer than is necessary. I'm feeling really great about my workload as I'm all caught up on editing photos/weddings, able to spend time working on ceramics and am still managing to escape the city here and there. I love summer and am itching to shoot more. I'm currently reading Sally Man's recent book called Hold Still and it's inspired me to think more about photography and it's purpose. I've fallen into the habit of pulling my camera out for work and then leaving it at home for any personal events. I cherish being able to look back on the boxes of prints my parents stored filled with finger prints, creases and quick notes on the back of dates and occasions. All that being said, I'm setting a personal project or a new years resolution so to speak to shoot more. To bring my camera with me everywhere.
